Shanshan Zhao
Greetings! I am Shanshan Zhao (Chinese: 赵杉杉).
I obtained my PhD degree at The University of Sydney (USYD, from July 2018),
under the supervision of Prof. Dacheng Tao and co-supervision of A/Prof. Mingming Gong. Before that, I received my master's degree from College of Computer Science and Technology, Zhejiang University in 2017 (supervised by Prof. Xi Li), and bachelor's degree in Network Engineering (Outstanding Engineer Plan) from Xidian University in 2014.
I ever worked as a Researcher in JD Explore Academy, and I also ever worked in HUAWEI (Hangzhou) Research Institute.

Research
I'm interested in: computer vision (2D image understanding), deep learning (domain adaptation/generalization), 3D vision (point cloud, depth), and AIGC (text-to-image, diffusion model). Currently, I mainly focus on 3D vision perception/understanding and controllable text-to-image generation/editing.
